Gaza is a test for what the masses will tolerate. If we stay silent when it is happening to some “brown Muslims” far away, maybe we will stay silent if it’s a little closer, if we take out the “Muslim” part, if we switch “brown” to a different ethnicity. If you are ready to be on the right side of history:
Contact your representatives every day. Even if they are pro-Palestinian, they need the constant feedback that we do not accept what is happening. Here are some tools:

Go to a protest or a demonstration. I have been to so many and they have all been very safe and worthwhile - and you get to see speakers who have been working at this for years. You learn about how this issue is connected to so many other things that affect you and those you love every day. You realize that this is a marathon and not a sprint. That you have to keep giving life to this movement with your actions every day - otherwise you are a bystander, continuing to let this happen under your watch.
If you need help finding a protest, let me know. I will personally find one for you to attend in your area. Yesterday I joined hundreds of thousands of protesters from all over the USA to form a red line around the White House. We need your voice. We are powerful together.
Olive: Is doing a lovely imitation of the Princess and the Pea!
