The Buzz: For Labor Day weekend (and also our 7-year anniversary), Seth and I did a day trip to New York, where we went on Scott’s Pizza Tour and saw the spectacular Broadway show Here Lies Love. I linked this non-paywall New York Times review since it really captures the nuance and power of this disco musical of the rise of the Marcos Dictatorship in the Philippines.
I also made this short video documenting the day!Recommendation: If you have a chance to see the movie Bottoms in theaters - go for it! It had the entire audience laughing throughout. The plot and dialogue was great so that the absurd visual gags in the background were just icing on the cake!
Olive: Might need to change her name to Mango! She has loved this box for months, but rarely lets me take her picture when she’s in it!
