Recommendation: Write things down more. Use a pen and paper, or preferably a notebook. You never have to read it again but the act of writing it down helps solidify it in your memory.
You’d think we all already know this, but there are more applications to this than you think. I started keeping a “practice journal” for my bass lessons and then I started taking notes during my olympic weightlifting training and suddenly I AM MAKING PROGRESS. Both of these things are very physical activities, so it never occurred to me before to try and take notes on it. Maybe it’s just me or maybe it’s maybelline.Olive: Has some competition of cuteness with the dogs I walk at the SPCA! So here’s a pic of her looking cozy and grumpy at the same time:
